Start with the whole project
A defined scope for your new sprinkler system
A new commercial building needs more than sprinkler heads. The job brings together the building layout, water supply, piping installation and acceptance work. We help owners and general contractors define that construction scope before installation is scheduled.
Tell us how the building will be used and where the project stands. We review the available plans, identify information still needed and establish the work to be quoted. The focus is a new system for a new building in the City of Miami, within Miami-Dade County—not a repair visit or a few relocated heads.
New commercial installation is part of our fire protection services. Your proposal stays specific to the plans, responsibilities and installation work for your project.
Commercial installation scope
From layout review to piping and acceptance
Expanding an existing sprinklered building rather than installing a complete new system? See our Fire Sprinkler System Extensions in Miami-Dade County service for piping and sprinkler work that carries existing protection into an addition or expanded floor area.
For multi-story tower projects that require coordinated sprinkler risers and floor-by-floor distribution, see our High-Rise Fire Sprinkler Installation in Miami service.
We quote new commercial sprinkler installations around the project documents and applicable NFPA 13 installation requirements. Depending on the plans and agreed responsibilities, the work can cover the stages below.
Project scope and layout
We review available plans, intended building use, ceiling conditions and proposed sprinkler locations. Layout questions and conflicts with structural, mechanical or electrical work are identified for resolution with the project team.
Water-supply review
We review available water-flow information, the proposed supply connection and the system’s design requirements. Missing supply information is identified so the project team can resolve it before the installation scope is finalized.
Plans and trade coordination
The quote identifies responsibilities for sprinkler drawings, required engineering, permit submissions and work by other trades. We coordinate the installation with those assigned responsibilities instead of assuming every related service is included.
Piping and sprinkler installation
We install the piping, fittings, supports, sprinklers and associated valves assigned to our scope, following the approved project documents, applicable standards and manufacturer specifications. Riser and connection details are confirmed for the specific system.
Acceptance work
We complete the applicable acceptance tests and inspection support assigned to the sprinkler installation scope. The quote identifies testing responsibilities, required inspection attendance and coordination with other contractors before this stage begins.
Records and closeout
We document our installed work and applicable test results, address installation items within our responsibility and provide required handover information. Contractor records support project closeout; they are not an authority-issued approval.

What we need to quote your Miami project
Projects with exposed parking levels require additional structural and clearance coordination; see our Parking Garage Fire Sprinkler Installation in Broward County service for garage mains, branch piping and sprinklers.
A useful installation quote starts with the building and scope—not a generic price per sprinkler. Share the information available so we can review what the job involves and what still needs to be resolved.
- Project address, intended building use, approximate square footage and number of floors.
- Current architectural, ceiling and fire-protection drawings, plus available water-flow information.
- New-construction permit status, general contractor contact and requested construction milestones.
- Site access, overhead working heights, material-staging areas and any identified work by other trades.
The proposal needs to distinguish the sprinkler installation from related work such as underground supply piping, backflow equipment, any fire pump and fire-alarm connections. We identify which items are included in our quote and which are assigned to others. Engineering, excavation and electrical work are not automatically bundled into every installation.
Building size, layout complexity, access, equipment and the agreed testing scope affect the quote and installation sequence. Bring your requested milestones; scheduling is confirmed after the work and site conditions are reviewed.
If the project includes a new private underground fire-water supply serving the sprinkler system, see our Underground Fire Sprinkler Main Installation in Miami-Dade County service for the buried piping, connection points and underground project interfaces.

Common questions
Before you request an installation quote
Can I call before the plans are complete?
Yes. Call with the project address, intended building use and current planning stage. We can discuss the initial installation scope and identify missing information. Final pricing and scheduling depend on the documents and site conditions needed to define the work.
Does the installation quote include engineering and permits?
Only where expressly included in the proposal. The scope identifies who prepares sprinkler drawings, provides any required engineering and handles permit submissions. Those responsibilities are confirmed for the project rather than assumed to be part of the piping installation price.
Is new-system acceptance the same as an annual inspection?
No. Acceptance work concerns the newly installed system and its construction requirements. NFPA 25 addresses ongoing inspection, testing and maintenance of water-based fire protection systems after they are in service. We define the new installation’s acceptance scope separately from recurring inspection service.
